The Simulation lab emphasizes mainly on simulation of electrical systems such as Electrical networks, Control systems, Power systems, Power electronics, electric drives etc. It is an independent lab with 30 systems and required softwares like MATLAB, PSCAD, PSPICE and MULTISIM. This lab is utilized by UG & PG students to do their simulation experiments, projects and research activities.
DESCRIPTION:
Basic electrical simulation lab is conducted for the undergraduate students in their third year first semester. This lab facilitates students in analyzing various networks using different techniques in analyzing circuit responses. Through this exposure, the students will be able to develop various simulation skills and develop simulation environment. The creation of the successful electrical systems always require more than the applications of a set of analytical techniques, which can be done by simulating different parts of the system under normal & abnormal conditions.
