VGNT has started B.Tech Civil Engineering in 2011, with an intake of 60 .There are four faculties working in the department. The students of the department are allowed to participate in Intra and Intercollegiate level paper presentation, technical Quizzes and Project work competitions. They are also allowed to participate in literary competitions, cultural activities and Sports and Games to boost their social morals. The students bought laurels to the department and to the college, in turn. Industrial visits are arranged for students. The Department has well equipped state-of-the-art laboratories for Surveying, Soil Testing, Cement and Concrete Testing, Highway Material Testing, Quality Testing of water and Waste water samples.

B.Tech (Civil Engineering) : 60

Electrical & Electronics Engineering

Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering is one of the oldest branches of engineering in Vignan Institute of Technology and Science right from its inception during 1999 with an intake of 60 Students and it also offering Post graduate programme in Power Electronics and Electrical Drives from the Academic year 2012-2013 with an intake of 18 students.

To impart a detailed understanding of the fundamentals of Electrical and Electronics Engineering practice.
To undertake projects and research activities in collaboration with national premier institutions and R&D centres.
To foster student with innovative designs and make them industry – ready with relevant projects.
To expose students to critical challenges and life-long learning in the broadest context of upcoming technologies.

Mechanical Engineering

To provide strong foundations in mechanical engineering supported by matching laboratory facilities in an excellent academic environment conducive to learning.
To implement learning centered teaching practices and deliver Industry ready students with professional ethics, concern for environmental safety & awareness of societal problems in the design-production cycle of mechanical engineering products/systems.
To forge active alliances with mechanical engineering industries, reputed R&D institutions and academia to appreciate the complexities of arriving at solutions to real world mechanical engineering problems and the interfaces required with other disciplines.

Electronics & Instrumentation Engineering

The students of the program will be imbibed with sound knowledge in Electronics and Instrumentation which enables them to various Opportunities in Industries and Research.
The students of the program will be trained to analyze, evaluate and design innovative products in the core and multi disciplinary domains, which provide solutions to the real time problems in the industry and society.
