LITERARY CLUB

Literary Club formed with the motive of promoting excellent communication skills to the students who lag behind and come from Telugu medium background or vice versa.

These days poor command over communication and soft skills is one of the major problems faced by students in India. Almost every opportunity that opens up in the industry require applicants to possess good English communication and other skills such as abilities to interact, demonstrate and learn effectively. As a result, although India produces about 2.5 million graduates every year, only around 50 thousand are employable without further training.

This is the brain child of many students who have become the victims of lack of communication skills, i.e, unable to speak though they have good idea about the topic. They were unable to put their thoughts into words. Languages can be learnt only in an interactive way and it is proved in the terms of Literary Club where the students were given various topics to speak on and prove their mettle. Various activities are provided to the students to speak without any sign of fear providing them the morale boosting and ideas to explode. Activities like Group Discussion, JAM, Debate, Presentations and so on made the students grab the opportunity and excel in communication skills. Writing activities like Creative Writing, report writings and other writing activities were introduced. The latest updates are brought in as News Hour where the Current affairs are discussed.
