Power Systems Lab

To impart practical knowledge about the functioning of various power system components like relays, circuit breakers and determination of various parameters and simulation of load flows, faults, stability and Economic operation of the electrical power systems.

DESCRIPTION:

The Power Systems lab is conducted for undergraduate students in their third year second semester. In this lab, students can get concrete ideas about the differential protection of transformers, generators, transmission lines and characteristics of all the types of protective relays. In this Laboratory, students can analyze and design electric and integrated energy systems including their planning, design, control and operation. The laboratory is equipped with the required hardware and to develop the skills required for a better future.
