Go For a Master’s Degree Abroad

Entrepreneurs also need to have very strong willpower as there is no guarantee on how long it will take for your idea to have its first MVP ready and get clients to become a reality and whether or not it will be a success at all. The bigger the risk the greater the reward phrase was probably written to describe the life of entrepreneurs.
Pursue MBA
B.Tech graduates need not necessarily work on technical engineering problems always, you can also get into verticals like business operations, management and consultation where your engineering background is an added advantage to understanding and coming up with new strategies.
It is a popular opinion among IIT graduates to go for an MBA in one of the IIMs in India. And people graduating with an MBA degree from IIMs are directly hired as Associate Managers or at times as project managers.
Regardless of whether you are an engineer from IIT or not, it is a great career choice to do an MBA, specifically from prestigious institutions like the IIMs which lead to countless opportunities in future.
Government Jobs
If you do not have any plans to go abroad anytime soon and are willing to settle in India then you can also apply for government job postings. There are abundant options like working in the Railways, attempting UPSC, becoming a researcher in ISRO and similar government wings.
Working for Defense or the Navy is another challenging but patriotic option on the list. Getting a job in this industry is a relatively easier task compared to other options and obviously, the rewards are also limited. If you are looking for a simple and peaceful option then this is the best career path as it does not require you to be an expert in any particular field.
The good part is that you get to learn various business models from finance, and logistics to telecommunications as you switch companies down the line and you will accrue a very diverse and cognizant experience over time.
