“

VIGNANA DHARA, the Central library, has been built to International Standards, Spreads over to two floors with an area of 1670 sq.m. It is centrally air-conditioned. Specialized collections of Books, Journals & Non-book materials are available in Basic Sciences, Engineering and Technology, Humanities and Social Sciences.

First Floor

Circulation Section – Issue Counter, Return / Renewal Counter, Study Room, Journal Section, Back Volumes Section, Copier Section, Periodical office & Library OPAC. Book Bank Section.

Library Softwares

The Library is Equipped with Ezlib software & Gate Keeper. Ezlib software is used for the purpose of  Circulation, Acquisition, Cataloguing, account maintenance, Reports, System administration and OPAC purpose. Gate Keeper is used for student & staff login purposes.

Wi-Fi-enabled Campus

Our College has a dedicated 500 MBPS Broad band connectivity which allows Wi-Fi connectivity throughout the campus. This facility allows students to access Internet connectivity anywhere within the campus. All the IT resources and content should be available to the faculty and students.

Media Center

Vignan Institute of Technology and Science has excellent Lecture Capture System for recording lectures of faculty members, which is useful for students for better learning through Recorded class room Video lectures. Our Faculty Members are using some open source softwares to their record video lectures.

Computer Center

The Computer Centre is a Central Facility of the College equipped with latest Configuration systems with 500 MBS internet speed. The Computer centre is for the students and faculty of the college with facilities for printing, scanning, and internet browsing.

Communication & Soft Skills

If User Clicks on Communication & Soft Skills The main aim of this labs is to improve Communication Skills in formal and informal situations. It is also to impart training to students through the syllabus in its theoretical aspects and practical components. The lab is equipped with high end configuration which also has high quality audio & video capabilities.

Canteen

VGNT has the facility of a spacious and clean canteen that caters to the taste of all students. Canteen can conveniently accommodate a 200 students at a time, functioning in the campus. The canteen is provided with modern furniture and electrical automatic cooking and storing facilities, which provides hot lunch, snacks and beverages both to the students and staff at reasonable rates. It is well maintained with efficient service and a take away counter. The College has a Canteen inside the campus in which variety of dishes are available at reasonable rates. The canteen remains open on all working days. Beverages ofdifferent flavors are served on different days according to different seasons

Transportation

College is providing transport facility to the students from various points in Hyderabad. College is running 40+ buses covering all points in Hyderabad.

Hostel

The College has campus attached spacious hostel which provides pleasant stay at affordable fee. It is Managed by our college management on no loss no gain principle. We serve Delicious and Nutritious food under the best hygienic conditions and in a spacious Dining Hall. The menu is decided by the students’ committee. The menu changes every week as per their interests. Rooms are Well ventilate & spacious with executive study table, lockable cupboards for each student and attached toilets. The hostel is enabled with Digital library facility till late nights. It also has Wi-Fi facility and Internet connectivity. The hostel inmates have Exclusive computer Lab facility, Common room with a facility of indoor games and Cricket Ground, Volleyball Ground for outdoor games. They also have Activity room for recreation and talent exhibition. Like Literary, Art, Technical club facilities. Drinking water is Mineral water with water coolers. Students have Hot water facility with Solar system. We endow with 24 hrs health care centre with basic first aid facility and emergency vehicle. Students are monitored by Separate wardens for both boys and girls. We engage Special classes for slow learners with the help of residential faculty. Students are members in various clubs to monitor the well functioning of the hostel. Hostel day celebrations: Our students celebrate hostel day every year on 28th December amidst of joyful events and colorful ambience.
